• A series of meetings to disseminate results of the UTRN-Tampa E-Journal Study among the wider University of South Flroida community and to solicit recomendations for policy and practice are scheduled as follows:
  • August 14, 2008, USF Admissions Office Staff
  • September 3, 2008, USF Council of Academic Advisors Executive Committee
  • September 9, 2008, USF Enrollment Management Team
  • October 1, 2008, Council of Associate Deans
  • October 27, 2008, Council of Deans

 

• On July 21-22, 2008, representatives from all 3 sites (Phoenix, Portland and Tampa) will meet at Portland State University for a "data summit" to review quantitative data and to plan for the analyses of administrator interview portion of the research.

• On July 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Policy & Data Advisory Committees will meet to discuss the quantitative data analysis to-date and to plan next steps.

• On June 24, 2008, from 1:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Advisory Committees will meet to discuss the results of this year's e-journal study and plan next steps.

• May 27, 2008, Dr. Kathi Ketcheson and Dr. Jan Ignash presented "Different Approaches to Charting Trnasfer Student Pathways to the Baccalaureate:  Examples from Two States." 

• May 26, 2008, Dr. Jan Ignash and Ruth Slotnick presented “Hello . . . Is Anyone Out There?” The Transfer Process as Students Experience It: A Year-Long e-journal Study at the Forum of the Association for Institutional Research, Seattle, WA, May 24-28.

• April 2008, Dr. Jan Ignash and Ruth Slotnick presented "Navigating the Transfer Process: What Students Tell Us" at the 50th Annual Conference of the Council for the Study of Community Colleges (CSCC), Philadelphia, PA, April 4-5.
